Most air-cooleds I have owned have had 1600cc engines. With this engine, the fuel filters that are used are usually made of plastic and have no retaining points, leaving them to wander around, attached to the fuel lines. They are then subjected to vibrations and can hit a metal surface very hard following sudden braking or a pothole in the road. In addition, it remains vulnerable to breakage by impact if something stronger than it, such as metal, rock or other, happens to hit it. So I decided to create a filter holder that would secure it, attaching it to a solid surface to prevent it from moving and at the same time, give it a structure to protect it from other elements that could hit it.

The holder can be used with 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch fuel lines. It is also made of thick stainless steel sheets, so it will never rust. It comes with all the hardware for quick installation. A detailed instruction sheet comes with the kit to facilitate installation. Your favorite car will then be more adequately protected from sudden fire hazards.
